Founded in 1989 by Ed Toy E L & Associates, Inc. is an Integrated Circuits (IC) design services company.

Our primary areas of focus are:

• Design for Test from architecture definition through ramp to production;
• Improvement of quality of results for manufacturing test flows (reduction of RMAs, elimination of test escapes);
• Test time reduction for IC ATE tests;
• Yield enhancement;
• Front end design flows and methodologies ;

Edward J. Toy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer

Prior to founding ELA in 1989, Mr. Toy held a number of positions in ASIC Design (GaAs, NMOS, CMOS, and ECL technologies), computer architecture development, and systems engineering. Mr. Toy holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Mr. Toy has been published in a number of technical forums, has presented at a number of technical conferences, and has been a panelist at various technical conferences. Mr. Toy has been a member of the IEEE for 38 years.
